**PLEASE NOTE - if you choose more than one class, your donation will be divided evenly between the classes. For example, if you would like to donate $5 per class and you have 3 children - choose the $5 option and change the quantity to 3 or choose $15 and leave the quantity alone. Just pay attention to the amount in your cart and understand the amount will be divided by the number of classes you choose to donate to.
Eagle Legacy Fund:
We are thrilled to introduce an exciting initiative that aims to leave a lasting impact on our school and our students' lives - the Eagle Legacy Fund. We hope this program will become a cornerstone of our school community, fostering a sense of unity, school spirit, and a commitment to making EWA an even better place for all. The goal of the fund is to allow each student in a graduating class to not only receive a senior t-shirt, but also have a nice catered senior breakfast as well as leaving a Legacy in the name of their class through their class Legacy project. At the heart of the Eagle Legacy Fund are several key goals:
Encouraging Whole School Thought: We want our students and parents to think about EWA as a whole, from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
Inclusive Senior Experience: Every senior will have the chance to participate in memorable experiences like senior t-shirts and breakfast.
Financial Relief for Senior Parents: By spreading the cost over many years, we aim to provide some financial relief to senior parents.
Leaving a Legacy: Each graduating class will have the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy of improvement at EWA, making our school even better for future generations.
Fostering Community and School Spirit: Together, we'll build a stronger, more connected EWA community.
Here's how the Eagle Legacy Fund works:
For students currently in K-4, families are encouraged to donate a minimum of $5 per year, for students currently in MS, the suggested annual donation would be $10 and for students in HS, we recommend an annual donation of $20 per year. Ideally, these contributions continue annually through Junior year. At the conclusion of Junior year the students will choose their Senior Legacy project. Each family is encouraged to contribute as they can.
Allocated Funds: By the end of Junior year, funds will be set aside for senior-related expenses like t-shirts and breakfast. The remaining funds will be directed towards a Legacy project chosen by each graduating class. These projects can be from a list of admin-approved options or unique ideas proposed by the students.
